Awfully weird of putting it. It's not that teams don't hold. The old saying of holding is they can't call them all. The same for basketball while hacking, slapping and pushing.

I think it is hilarious because all A&M did last season was hack people from the opening tip. They had their hands on folks from the jump to see how much the refs would let them get away with.
Rock fight was a fairly standard phrase used by commentators to describe Texas A&M basketball.
