This is true. The playoff has largely ruined outlier bowls.

The playoff ruined that?

In what way was only one bowl game mattering better than two bowl games mattering?

The other bowls were exactly of same value before the playoff...

No. The BCS ruined that a long time ago.

Except OU I guess. Because they cared enough to kick the shite outta UF

belittled them - all to take the blame and responsibility from himself. Why would any desirable recruit want to play for this guy

If we are being honest, it’s pretty apparent they didn’t even before these comments. Hence our recruiting ranking.

I have completely tempered my enthusiasm for college football this year over the whole COVID thing. I went to the game and cheered for my team, but screw them if they don't want to show up to play.

And there are some who played hard last night, so I shouldn't say the whole team, but probably most of them. I don't like the direction of college football right now and there is nothing I can do to change it, so I am not going to sweat over it either.

Dan is probably a big part of UFs recruiting woes. These young guys think he’s weird.

Which would be perfectly fine if he were self aware enough to see it. He would surround himself with recruiters. It seems like that’s the last thing he looks for from an assistant though. fricking maddening.

I know you're still butthurt over 13-6 but Bama had players opt out of their bowl game last year.

To be fair, I think only Diggs and Lewis opted out and each had suffered one or more season ending injuries in their college careers. Not gonna fault em for that choice.

I wanna say every 2020 1st rounder who wasn’t out due to injury played in the Citrus Bowl. Juedy was the MVP of the game I believe.

Most recruits don't want the added responsibility of servicing Dan's wife.

She is really affectionate! Bet they run like mad when they see her hanging around the team bus. Especially this year. Talk about a super spreader

Good to see the Florida fans not buying the Mullen excuse. They expect to win and expect their coaches and players to give it their all. The average fan, fans who shelled out money for the tickets, tv network, and sponsors deserve better too.

Most UF fans are front runners. They gripe and whine - even after a win. They are never ever happy no matter who is coach or how things are going. And when things are especially bad as they have been for over a decade, they are miserable. They seen to enjoy their misery so we should probably let them wallow in it

I understand Florida isn’t a Clemson, Bama, or Ohio State right now,

I think you meant LSU, Clemson, or bama right now.

If the bowls next year are deciding between Florida and team X, do you go with Florida who Mullen has shown he will treat the game with backups and scout team players when the game is still winnable or team X?

Bowls are like the US dollar. There are so many now they're virtually worthless. Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Gator Bowl & Citrus Bowl. Get rid of all the others.

Agree 100%. I mean, look at Leach. He's definitely an odd bird, but he knows it and still won everywhere he's been. Jury is still out on him at Miss. State, but I'll bet he wins there, too, in another season or two.
