Jaydeer. You can do it, it doesn't mean you gain no yards in the air it means you tackle well on quick passes, don't allow big gains, and break up a few third down passes. We wont stop every pass. It's about not letting short passes become big gains and not allowing the deep ball to become a threat.

Like I said, pick your poison.
Not a single team you have faced has an O this dynamic. Not a single one and the gap is large.

Miami's O is pretty dynamic, and we shut them down after the first quarter. The only reason we lost that game is because our offense couldn't finish off drives in the red zone.
Granted, Morris isn't quite on Mett's level and Miami doesn't have the WRs that LSU has, but they're pretty good. And we shut them down.
LSU will be able to score some points, but not nearly as much as they've been used to getting. UF will be able to score some points as well. It'll be close. Should be fun.

Sorry, but Mett, Hill, OBJ and Landry are all high draft pics Mett being the lowest and climbing.
Maimi aint got shite on this years LSU O.
No telling what the LSU D will do. We have the guys, just very young.
Again, UF is not shutting this LSU team down. We will do what we want, when we want it.

What the hell does conference affiliation have to do with anything?
If you think Duke Johnson is some "no name," that's your problem. He's a very good running back. Hill is very good as well, but he hasn't faced a D nearly as good as UF's this season. We'll see what he can do. We're not as strong up the middle as we were early in the season with Easley, so Hill might have some success. We'll see.

LSU will not have more than 2 long scoring drives. You can't put a consistent drive together against this UF D. they do what they want when they want.
And also to the OP. I like how you start a thread asking a question about the D but then don't take anything the UF fans have said and just keep making statements.
Everyone will see this weekend that UF ISNT overrated and will become the East favorite after another dominating win in TS.

LSU will have to pass to setup the run. The running game will be marginal at best. LSU OL cannot get a consistent push against UF.
The more important question is how bad is LSU's defense and can they keep UF under 24-28 points?

Half of our O will be in the NFL next year.
LSU rolls. Don't care who you are. Your only hope is to outscore us.
We dropping 31+

The key for LSU is their D. Will they be able to stop our passing game, and will prevent us from controlling the clock with our run game.
The key for FL is Murphy to continue doing what he is doing.
LSU's O, and FL's D will do their thing, and they will both have some victories. The game will be won in the other match up IMO.

I debunked this nonsense yesterday.
LSU 23rd in total offense 488.8 yds per game
Miami 24th with 488.6 yds per game

That doesn't mean shite. Maimi has played terrible teams. Terrible.
You also need a dictionary and read what DYNAMIC MEANS. Nothing I said has anything to do with yards.
You clearly do not understand the O this LSU team runs.
I do not see you stopping OBJ or Landry out of our formations. If you do, that means you are doubling them and Hill will run free.
