I waded through this crapfest thread until the very notion by LSU fan that offense wins titles declaration spewed forth.
Gee, all these years I read and heard from multiple head coaches, men of impeccable knowledge in college football matters....ands now I learned it was all wrong that DEFENSE wins titles? How could I have been so easily duped?
And now I have seen it posted here on this great fan of college sports board that indeed it IS offense that wins titles! Please accept my apology and excuse my blind behavior thinking defense was all important. I plead guilty as charged.

I was wrong about LSU running all over us. Did it at will in the 1st half. I wouldn't say we were worn out, just extremely out manned up the middle.

182 yds and 2 Tds isn't too bad. There was a lot of shite talking is this game.
