Could they play it at the Georgia Dome? It'd be a 4.5 hr drive from Gainesville, but it would cut back an hour for folks driving from Baton Rouge. The Falcons play @ Denver on Sunday.

Visitors got pretty premium lower-bowl seats last year. ETA: By visitors, I actually mean South Carolina. Although they were the home team, lol. Just habit to refer to them as visitors.

Also, they aren't going to be assholes if someone moves to a lower seat that is unoccupied.

Will LSU fans not show up again? They act like they have other plans when you know their original plans were to watch the away game on tv.

I will only accept this game in TS if Florida leverages its clout and gets a home game next year, or a nice hefty check from LSU for the privilege to host the Gators in an off-year.

You must think you still have Spurrier or Urban roaming the sidelines.

This makes no sense. Watching the game on TV and going to Tiger Stadium for the day is not even remotely close to the same thing.

I'll be really happy because it means we'll get back to back home games against LSU. We're not South Carolina

Looks like USC is trying to do something similar to not have the game moved.

I'll be ticked that it took this long. As I sit here in the office seeing the interstate back up more and more while UF administration played with their dicks about this game.

It's gonna take probably a full 24 hours just to try and drive out there at this point.

It makes perfect sense. LSU fans said they didn't go to the USCe game last year because they had other plans. I laughed at that since they were mostly at home watching the game.

Not saying if it's in BR it won't create an advantage for LSU. It has nothing to do with who gets the money, it is, & will go down in the record books, as a HOME game for UF. I was just pointing out to the poster that LSU will NOT have to "even it out" & go to UF for 2 years because, technically, this is a HOME game for UF therefore the rotation dictates they be the visiting team the next year.
