Agreed. Kelly looked like a world beater against every other team he faced. He didn't have any time to make the throws he usually makes.

Should be an interesting matchup.

I'm interested to see if our WRs continue to improve. This may be their toughest test this year.

OLine will need to be able to get our RBs enough to keep Lock from getting bum rushed every time he drops back.

I expect Florida's defense to dictate a lot. I hope our defense is ready.

Very conservative gameplan last week. Focus on short throws, possessing the football and moving the chains.

If Florida wants to start coming after him, it could rattle him or it could also lead to more opportunities down the field. If I'm Florida I try to come after him. If I'm Mizzou I have several screen passes in the gameplan to combat this.

Can all fans post on this thread? (rhetorical)

I have to be honest. I clicked on the link, watched all the plays several times, read the commentary.

The article is very silly with praise at the beginning with stupid statements such as NFL quarterbacks have a hard time making that throw blah blah blah.

The admiration of using his shoulders to fake a wide receiver screen etc was just way over the top and embarrassing. And, he did not fake very well either.

I didn't see the frozen rope that was referenced.

What I saw are a few nice hard passes, but no frozen rope.

I saw him hit an open receiver in the end zone who had to turn from his stride to catch a ball slightly behind him.

I saw receivers reaching up to get a high ball.

In short, I saw a typical true freshman quarterback who is rated high perform about to the level expected.

I read an over the top silly commentary that went something like this:

The toddler controlled his spoon effortlessly and launched his food into his mouth without spilling one drop. The cereal swished in his mouth with precision that adults have trouble mastering. No drool. No missed parts. A smooth quick swallow in patient anticipation of the next bite. An All American in the making. Missouri has not seen a toddler like this since Chase Daniel. The verdict: Toddler is here to stay.

Very true. I figured Pinkel knew he could beat Spurrier regardless. I would gamble and go after him to rattle him. He is a true freshman and I'd put it on my two 5* cbs to make the plays and stall drives.

I almost feel bad about the 11 believe it or not.

I like the sig pic. I wish I knew how to cartoon it though.
