Missouri plays a brand of really physical defense. When you get refs that are trying to dissuade that, you get hit with a bunch of ticky tack fouls. It is, what it is.

When you play physical defense they call fouls when there’s no contact? That doesn’t make sense. Good effort. Take your W and just quit pretending the refereeing made sense.

Florida played really well
if the refs weren't awful it would have been a fun game to watch either way.

I saw SEVERAL phantom fouls called on UF as well. Two important ones down the stretch. You just didn't see UF fans bitching about it in the game thread every damn page. Mizzou and your fans were bitching about every call. Instead of bitching at the refs, why not tell your players to quit hand checking and pushing every other play???

ALl of this. I haven't seen anyone say Florida played bad but anyone with a brain can see that the critical calls/phantom calls went to Florida and decided the game.
If it were the opposite I would tell Florida GG and let them vent because the officiating was the worst I have seen in a couple years.

but it wasn't just a bad call at a crucial moment.

Florida played really well? What game were you watching? We shot like trash. You guys shot 48% from the field and 58% from 3. We shot horrible from 3. You got beat and we played poorly, it is what it is friend.

I love how Mizzou fans are ignoring the fact that there were a lot of calls in their favor in this game as well. Maybe I should start bitching about it -- WE SHOULD HAVE WON BY 10, frickING REFS.
You guys would get out-boxed and push our guy in the back to get the rebound. Happened at least 10 times, never got a call. Just as one example.

The refs were about to answer reporters questions but then they realized they would miss the Florida team bus.

Bout time. We usually get the short end of the refs(see Duke game us getting destroyed in the paint). Nice to get calls on our side on the road.

It sucked, but time to move on. We need to learn how to close out games like this. Just no easy wins in the SEC this year and this one should have been a W.
