I hope so. But for your teams sake you better hope Mullen doesn’t start recruiting the same talent as Kirby. That would be unfair for Kirby.
Pretty sure we just got commitments from 1 or 2 players Florida wanted. Well, Florida wanted them until they committed to us, then they didn't want them.

But does he pay recruits daddys? I know for a fact that Mullen does, but I can't tell you how I know. For all you know I was right there in the room when Mullen gave Cecil Newton the bag of cash
I hope you’re right, Mullen needs to do something to get some more talent on campus.

Yeah what’s your point? Hence the reason I said if Mullen “Starts” to recruit like Kirby. Are you confused?

Ummmm.....no. I'm pretty sure you said this:
But for your teams sake you better hope Mullen doesn’t start recruiting the same talent as Kirby.

Do you mean "successfully recruiting the same talent level" or are you implying that Mullen doesn't go after any of the same players... The former is unlikely given his historical recruiting success... it would seemingly take a pretty massive shift for Mullen to start recruiting to that standard. The latter would just be odd... given that we've gone head to head for recruits and won more often than lost already.
The former hence the reason I said “you better hope” it’s quite obvious Mullen doesn’t recruit on Kirby’s level. This isn’t that hard.

Yeah.... I sure did. Not sure what you don’t understand about that sentence. If Mullen ever starts to recruit on Kirby’s level, you guys are in trouble. Is that confusing?

I guess with SEC media days in full swing it really is talking season. The gators think everything is sunshine and rainbows down in Gainsville.

Not confusing at all. It's a shame that's not what you said.

You claimed to be there in the room with Fields and Smart?
You have an imagination that reminds me of straws or korin. I can’t tell who you are closer to.

I’m sure Dan has told some lies, I don't think he uses lying as a major part of his recruiting like Kirby does though. Kirby is a salesman, when shite hits the fan he goes to sell mode which works in the short term. It’s only a matter of time before he burns to many bridges and recruits and parents start seeing through it though. Just my opinion.

It's called clarifying ambiguity. You made a statement that could be taken several ways, and followed it up with an even more ambiguous "incorrect quote"/paraphrase of the original statement... Sometimes the few of us on the boards with functioning brain cells appreciate clarity over assumption.

Posts like this really show how hysterical you are being, not that we needed anymore evidence.
off the field, Kirby was a 4 time SEC academic honor roll, and graduated with a degree in Finance. This likely means he is one of the most academically intelligent coaches in the SEC. 20 years later, he has proven he learned very well from Saban on how to properly build and maintain a football program.

Starts? Mullen already does and has the dirtiest, dumbest SOB on the staff in Grantham. He doesn’t even try to hide it. Just flat out asks how much.
Edit: you’re doing an excellent job trolling all these dawg fans acting like you know what’s going on.

This and DL's post are why I clarified what he was attempting to state. He's now claiming that comment was just referring to catching up talent wise on the trail. In his mind though, it sounds like the only reason for Mullen's struggles are that he doesn't lie and that they don't cheat... At least not anywhere near as much as Kirby. Which is fricking comical at best.

That would imply that anyone buys into this bullshite. I'd just like to see literally one shred of verifiable information that backs up his perspective... Particularly since there is plenty to go on that says Mullen is sleezy, and it doesn't seem to help him on the trail.

I'm not saying we're buying it but we keep responding to it

Meh... People challenge him on his bullshite... If that's trolling, so be it... But he isn't getting "bites" so much as getting laughed out of the thread. Sounds like he's comfortable with the way Mullen is handling himself at the reins... I think that lets us know what we need to about his football knowledge and ability to assess their situation objectively. Everything else is gravy at this point.

I'm not saying he's good at it but him and Korin have extended this thread by close to 30 pages with their nonsense.
Posted on 7/16/19 at 10:19 pm to Porter Osborne Jr
It accomplishes my goal... Which is keeping this thread front and center all off-season. If they wanna self-impose additional attention on the joke that is Mullen's program, who are we to stop them.
