the redneck bammer fans are so fun to troll IRL. they can't respond with words so they get all red and try to fight large groups of people

Not only did things get physical for us personally, our camera equipment also has some bruises as well.
I can't even count the number of times a Tiger fan ran up to the camera and shouted expletives or just yelled at the lens.

Wasn't there some controversy over this? Like perhaps it was less than truthful?

Wait, wait, so some Reveille writers went out to the LSU-Bama game, dressed as Bama fans looking for material to write an article about how bad LSU fans treat opposing fans?

So they went out, looking for material to confirm their opinion? Yeah, I smell no bias here, nor do I smell them not trying to elicit desired responses. I also remember there being backlash when this article came out and one of them said they embellished and/or fabricated their experience so they could write the article.

The Reveille is an abortion of a newspaper run by attention whores who will do or say anything to start a commotion or create drama where there is none.

yep, they were most ignored even though they were hanging out on the parade grounds where more rowdy tailgates are held. The parade grounds is half frat tailgates and the other half non-frat but fairly large and wild. The rest of campus is fairly tame except for one little stretch right by alex box where a few rowdy parties where opposing fans might get roughed up a bit.

Yes. If I recall correctly, one of them said they made shite up to write the article. In 20+ years of tailgating at LSU, I can count on one hand "altercations" I've seen, all of which involve random drunks running their mouths; 99% of the interactions I see are good natured and harmless.

Your constant input in threads for a "rivalry denied" is shocking me.

Posting this weak-azz sh*t again? Those dumb whores had video cameras with them and didn't capture any of the terrible harassment they claimed in the article. I guess the battery went dead when they were getting spit on, sh*t-bombed and having Molotov Cocktails thrown at them.

Did they have any guys rub their balls in their face? I guess Bama wins again.

Yeah, I honestly doubt this writer was anything close to good looking if she is willing to spend her Saturday gameday dressed up as an Alabama fan for some story.

Probably some ugly fat girl who doesn't like football because everyone else does, and wrote some paper while sitting in her dorm while everyone else was having fun.

They antagonized the area around Nicholson which was notorious for the trashy-sidewalk fans tailgating area.

We always tailgate near the Ag Center/Rodeo arena (not sure the name) never seen anything remotely like that. I've always had a great time in BR.

So even though this is pretty much generally accepted to be fake, you're gonna keep posting stuff from it?

Any balls in anyone's face? WEAK. We just don't bring it like Bama fans.

She must've severely exaggerated things. I've walked around Baton Rouge many times with my Auburn gear on and nothing has really happened to me besides the Tiger Baiting and some curse words and gestures.

I find that kind of stuff makes the experience more fun anyways.

Also why doesn't she mention the groping and spitting and all that shite in her video?

Rip rip rip, rap rap rap is one of LSU's "traditional" cheers.

There you go.

Between the Track Stadium and Field House is a free for all every game day. I would not go there with kids or civilized women...
