I'm extremely concerned about the false starts. The most experienced o-lineman committed both penalties. Maybe he did it last year (the crap with the ball) and the Big 12 just didn't care.
There were at least 3 Florida drives extended by stupid penalties in the 2nd half.

Nothing changes, Texas still takes who they want.
TCU moving into a BCS conference hurts them more than anyone wants to admit on the recruiting trail.

Your o-line did pretty well. Dude, you had no first game to get the kinks worked out. Ya'll will be fine.
Ya'll had the ad first half cause you threw the kitchen sink at us. The 2nd half was more equal IMO and we are a little better.

If we don't get a vertical passing game QUICKLY, all that opposing defenses will have to do is keep all defenders within 10 yards of the LOS.

I am not happy about another second half flop, but the lack of a first game + the mistakes worked against us in this game.
Unlike the past, we put up a damn good fight. I am glad we didn't come out looking like noobs.

It was a great game to watch...and as I suspected a second half game....once the Aggies wore out their hoopla and adrenlin rush....Gator defense just took what it wanted in the second half. Our cornerbacks were never threatened because A&M knew better than throw more than 5 yds downfield most of the game.
I was impressed with A&Ms defense more than anything...they played their hearts out and then there was no more money in the account to cash checks. The hoopla surrounding this game could have easily caused us an L. FU Slive. We were suppose to play Ole Miss on the road and AU at home.
