Careful what you wish for, I'd much rather have easy access to a trough than long arse lines for urinals that are 6 inches from each other.

Announcement will include a full gutting and renovation of the west side to be included in the first phase. Was initially expected to be phase 2. This is the part of the stadium that is the "2nd oldest in FBS"(also shown in my avatar). Templeton troughs will be fixed in this phase.

Bids came in well under budget. That's why we went ahead and included the small bowl in the SEZ and the first phase of bricking around the stadium. Capacity will be increased 2500 more than initially thought. Will be mid 60s now...

This is closer to how the outer bricking will look in phase 2...

Na. I don't mind knee high troughs.

It's the ones on the floor that piss me off when 12 year old Johnny pisses on my feet.

Next phase after this is over.
They will move the press box out of the middle and it will go on top. Will turn the old press box into suites.
This is several years away.

That whole middle deck should be renovated into suites IMO.

I HATE how they made the upperdeck short on that side of the stadium. Won't be cost effective for us to ever fix it either...

I enjoy the road trip over to Starkville for what NCAA football calls "the Battle of HWY 82." It's an easy in and out, non-claustrophobic setting that will be enhanced by these nice additions....

Wont come close to the biggest of course (will still be among the smallest) but aesthetically, will certainly be one of the nicest.

Nicest high school stadium i've ever seen.

So since our stadium will now hold more than OM do you consider their 60'000 seat stadium a HS stadium as well.

I like it.

I hope Tiger Stadium is always able to keep the traditional old look on the outside. No doubt about it though, the innards of Tiger Stadium need help.

We had to do something to the facade of DWS.

The "traditional" look of Davis Wade is just plain "old and dirty."
