Sorry, I was busy watching the Sporting KC game.

I didn't get to watch, but it sounds like SKC didn't play that well. I'll gladly take a point in that situation.

It's a bit ingenuous to say most of the country doesn't care about baseball or basketball

Show me some TV ratings where baseball gets better ratings than football.

Baseball is ac 19th century boring arse sport.

College football is the most exciting thing in sports. So much can happen any Saturday. The band, the students, the atmosphere, playing to make a name for yourself so you can sell autographs.

But the NFL is not the same. I find it tremendously boring. The fans aren't the same as in college. The atmosphere is totally different. And as much as people think, it's really not a fast moving sport. There is a ton of down time while watching NFL.

Baseball takes a little bit of give, it's not all take. You have to give a little as a fan.. you have to put in an effort to think a little bit more during baseball.. I can see why mental slugs like 'you guys' don't like mlb.

Really an irrelevant and proven childish comment.

Baseball is a regional/individual city sport. People don't have interest in other teams outside of their own. It's such a long season that when your team is done, you're done as a fan.

Over 3 million people went through the turnstiles in Milwaukee this year, to watch a godawful baseball team.

They didn't look particularly great. Houston had a lot of chances, Nielsen played great though. They settled in during the second half and got a couple decent looks at least.

Super childish... and extremely accurate.

Don't try to justify or explain it to me. I used to watch MLB, back when I didn't have shite else to do.

At least you're a hockey fan. The sport that should dominate the minds of the masses instead of the NFL.

The MLS has to start adapting to the international breaks. We could have used Zusi and Besler.

No actually the world series ratings comments about baseball are truly irrelevant if logic is applied.

The Cards are the bomb baby. Lived in St. Louis for years, loved Card games.

Well it could change who represents the NL in the world series.. we would have destroyed the feeble braves. The dodgers could be trouble.

Please do not try to make baseball as some intriguing, strategy laden game. You hit the ball, catch the ball, and throw the ball. That's it.
