Not a flame, not a racist comment, seriously, but does anyone find it odd that a sort of effeminate, unathletic, bald-headed Jewish dweeby dude is such a media presence in ALABAMA of all places?

btw- I didn't think it would happen, but ESPN is turning up the heat on the "rematch" more and more every day. It will turn the BCS on it's ear and piss alot of schools off, but it's really becoming a possibility due to the media support of it.

the thread is about Finebaum. Since I asked the question, I can tell you, it's not racist. I have nothing against Jews or anyone else based solely upon their ethnicity. I just find it odd that in a state like Alabama (that is well, somewhat racist, although maybe I'm basing my view on "Driving Miss Daisy" which portrayed anti-semitism in Alabama in the 30s? 40s?) that this guy would find a big following.

I know he's an annoying 'Bama homer, and I may not agree with him completely, but looked at in isolation this article isn't bad.
