So you know zero idea how the position works and how to identify proper QB play, got it.
Milroe has no pocket awareness or presence, no idea how to slide protection, can’t read the field and can’t audible out of play when it’s clear it will no work. He cannot step in the pocket but goes backwards. He admitted in an interview he did not have the mental capacity to play the position.
But hey he’s fast and throw the ball far.

Finebaum is and has always been a pot stirrer. National Enquirer for southern football.
As much as I hate to say it- and I do- bammer will likely be “fine” as anyone else in this new era of CFB. Doesn’t mean I think they repeat what they did over the last 15 years, but they will always be in the conversation- regardless of HC, based on the fact they are a team that should always be around the top 1 to 12 teams.
Milroe wasn’t what tide fans expect, but lots of other things weren’t either. That trend has been somewhat evident since 2022; probably why Saban hung it up.
They- as everyone else- will suffer the same attrition until NIL and the portal is addressed, which is why whatever future “next” dynasty will be interesting to observe.
I don’t think we know what CFB will look like over the next 5 seasons- with any predicability- so prognosticating future doom and gloom based on historical norms/trends/events is probably not a good litmus for what will happen for now.
The short term reality is that some random team has a chance to get hot at the right time and a more established team has the chance to have an off year due to parity. Sort of like the men’s basketball tournament.

Milroe actually has a higher passer rating this season than Daniels had in his first season at LSU.
Regardless, it seems like DeBoer should've went out and got a transfer like BK did.
If there ever was a time to say the "lies, damn lies, and statistics" phrase...
