SAME TEAM WON BOTH WARS!!!!!!
It's a pretty good analogy. In primary school, I was taught that the British won (by a British teacher). American teachers claimed the Americans won.

It keeps getting more and more similar

Did she say the British dominated the war, and if not for their American Indian special teams, they would have won?

your teacher was an idiot . . .both wars were clearly won by the americans. both wars were fought by the brits to assure there would be no americans at the end, and at the end, there were still americans. at its very core, britain lost both.

That war didn't end well for the guys in red. This one won't either.

I think you missed the point of his post...or I did. Definitely one of us.

Dominated? No. But she did make a pretty good case for the British, having burned the White House. It's been so long ago that I don't remember much other than that.

The War of 1812 had officially ended by the time the Battle of New Orleans was fought. The battle was comparable to an exhibition game with a lot of Brits being slaughtered by angry white farmers and African-Americans.
Don't be so damn stupid.
If Great Britain had managed to capture NOLA in January, 1815, she would never have relinquished it peacefully. NOLA would have been a British naval base until someone took it back from them by force of arms.

Yea, hell...now that you mentioned it, it's coming back to me. I was tested over that crap and she actually gave me credit when I answered that the Americans won. I remember her shaking her head and laughing.

Well in the first battle, the Brits might have won, but their cannoneers missed their targets like four times.

Why are LSU fans infatuated with Finebaum?
Because listening to idiots like Legend is comic gold! I find it really amusing listening to the idiots that call up the show and rant and rave. Most of them sound like they didn't graduate third grade.
"Hey Pawwwl. I'm a long time listener, first time cawler. I just wanted to tell you that I lay around my trailer every Saturday, listen to your show, stare at my poster of Nick Saban and pull on my man meat. We've got the best damn team in the country and I just can't figure out why anyone even argues with us. They can't handle our stuff Pawwwl. They just can't. Don't they know about the Bear. We're gonna git number 37 this year. I just know it."
And then that classic sign-off - "RTR Pawwwl."
It's gold Jerry!

He actually nailed this.
1) Wear red.
2) Show up 2 months after you lost the war
3) Still get your asses drilled into the sea.
Glad you see it our way Paul.
