Do the east teams think they would have beaten any of the west opponents? Not Likely.

Louisville
Minnesota
East Carolina
Iowa
Miami

Every time I see an SC West thread all I see is big brother envy. Some guys just hate their division has offered the least to the conference. West supplied most the BCS titles. West has a long SEC champs streak going.

Georgia - who settles for Richt when he is closing in on a decade of no SEC title. Also has never played for a national title. But he is a good ole boy which makes a fan base accept not bringing home important hardware. "But hey we won the Belk bowl!"

South Carolina - Spurrier is the man! But again what has he done for you? I don't want to hear look how far we have come. If Clemson can recruit and battle with top teams, South Carolina has the ability to do the same. Spurriers name alone brings recruits but what about coaching? Sure he was great at Florida but he has brought you to one SEC title game. So you aiming high is, "hey he got us there once?"

Mizzou - Has been a great addition for you. They have won the SEC twice now in their short time in the conference. Yet everyone in the east says things like, "Do you really think they were the best team in the east?" Which I see a pattern now. You just talk down the top teams to make yourself seem better.

Kentucky and Vandy - we don't even have to touch. Neither team has even played in the SEC title game. So thank Mizzou because for a long time it was a four team race in that division.

Florida - has been in a slump. They really miss Tebow. But you can thank them for representing the east in a national title game between 2000-2010. Without them the east would not even be known nationally that decade. I think they are always the threat in the east to be great again.

Tennessee - 0-3 in SEC title games since the last time the won the national title. Sure they have poked their head to the top of the east a time or two but lets be honest nobody has seen them as a contender outside of Knoxville since Tee Martin and Manning were throwing the ball there.

Ole Miss is the one team that has been in the conference forever that has not won the West. also of course A&M has not either but I can see them getting there.

Alabama, Auburn and LSU have brought national titles to the conference. Alabama alone has as many BCS titles as the entire east. You are still little brother in the conference. But if one bowl season makes you feel good about yourself. Enjoy the moral victory.
