I-70 was a mess tonight.

Other thoughts: I sat behind a family that were fans of both schools...how is this supposed to be a rivalry if people are cheering for both teams?

Also, not a fan of Arkansas' uniforms. They looked like practice jerseys

Same ones that were used for the pk80. Not a fan of them either.

What was this place like before SEC Rant? Did Georgia and Auburn fans hate each other more than they do now? How many Alabama fans were egging Shula’s house? How many more titles was Saban going to win at LSU?

You could actually have a discussion.

The discussion was with how many Les miles would win.

You either posted on the tiger rant or the more sports board.

This place is quite entertaining. I wish I had your foresight to join that long ago.

Yeah I see it quite a bit really. I suspect that will eventually dwindle now that they're in the same conference, but for now it's not uncommon.

I got suckered in to sign up when a lsu poster said hester ran faster than McFadden.

If it wasn't for Saban/bama in 07 there probably wouldn't be a secrant til much later.

I thought McFadden was the best player in college football in 2007.

And not 06?

He couldn't win the Heisman because he was a sophomore and then tebow won it next year as a sophomore.

He was scoring out of Wildcat and upsetting top 5 ranked teams on the road in 2006?

When I think of McFadden I think of him gashing a top 5 ranked LSU team on the road in 2007 when everyone knew he was going to get the ball when the game was on the line. And LSU still couldn’t stop him. And I was about to say your 2007 team had 3 RB’s taken in the NFL Draft the next year. And 2 in 1st round.

But there was a team that figured out how to shut him down in the Cotton Bowl that year.

Yup, in a meaningless bowl game.

I doubt it was a meaningless game to all those seniors who played that day.
