Lets Get This Party Started Butler -1.5 152 points.Butler and Arkansas have met only once
previously as men’s basketball opponents and it was more than 87 years ago. The Bulldogs took a 37-21 win in Indianapolis on Jan. 2, 1931.

• The Razorbacks are a No. 7 seed for the second time in program history, holding an overall record of 0-1

• Arkansas is 6-7 in games with 70 or fewer possessions.

• Arkansas is 17-4 in games over 70 possessions, and 11-1 in games with 75 or more possessions.

• Arkansas is making its third NCAA Tournament appearance in a four-year span for the first time in 10 years.

• With a 5-2 mark this season, Arkansas has won five-plus neutral site games in back-to-back seasons for the first time in 10 years.

• Arkansas faced 11 teams in this year’s NCAA Tournament and posted an 8-8 record against those programs. Five of the 8 wins came against top 8 seeds.

• The Razorbacks have five wins over ranked opponents this year, the most such wins since knocking off eight AP Top 25 teams during the 1994-95 National Runner-up season.

•Arkansas’ 122 dunks are the most in the Mike Anderson era, and Daniel Gafford’s 74 slams are 27 more dunks than Butler has all season as a team.

•At 40.1 percent from behind the arc, the Razorbacks
are on pace to record the second-highest three-point percentage by any SEC team in the last 25 years. Florida shot 40.9 percent in 2007.

•Arkansas has won 40 consecutive games when
leading at halftime. During the Mike Anderson era, the Razorbacks are 125-7 (.946) when leading at the break.

• Arkansas is 11-1 in its last 12 contests decided by one possession, the best mark since the 1994-95 season.

• In games decided by four points or less, Arkansas has won 13 of the last 14,including a 7-1 mark away
from Bud Walton Arena.

• Arkansas has 77 runs of seven points or more in 34
games this season, compared to just 54 by opponents.

• The Razorbacks have multiple runs of seven points or more in 25 of 34 games.

Butler

• Butler benefited from playing in the nation’s third-rated conference. The Bulldogs were ranked 25th in kenpom.com and 41st in RPI. In the new RPI breakdown, which gives greater weight to road victories, Butler was 4-9 against quadrant 1 and 4-3 against quadrant 2.

• Butler’s top wins were over Villanova and Ohio State, and also beat Providence, Creighton and Seton Hall. Butler was once 17-7 before losing six of its last nine, but its overall resume was easily enough to merit inclusion in the 68-team field.

• Fifteen NCAA tourney wins since 2010, a totalbexceeded by eight schools.

• Three Sweetb16s in eight years, and five since 2003.

• Ten NCAA tourney appearances in 12 years, and four in a row.

• Six consecutive wins in the first round, and a 10-1 record in such games since 2001.

• Butler is 224th in D-1 in offensive rebounding percentage.

• #20 in the country in ft%

• #48 in the country in fg%47.2 Arkansas is #36 47.7

• #30 in turnover margin, Arkansas is tied with 3 team at #29

• #33 Turnovers per game 11.2 Arkansas #26 at 11

• Kelan Martin is on the verge of 2,000 points scored in his career. Has 35 career games of 20 points or more.

• Fifteen of Butler’s 33 games so far this
season have come against teams in the
2018 NCAA Tournament field.

• Senior Kelan Martin earned All-BIG EAST
First Team honors, one of three unanimous
selections by the league’s head coaches.
Martin led the BIG EAST in scoring during
conference play at 23.6 points per game.

• Kamar Baldwin’s 32 points against
Seton Hall in the BIG EAST semifinals
were a career-best. It marked the second
30-point game of his career.

• Butler committed only six turnovers
against Seton Hall in the BIG EAST quarterfinals, the tenth time this season with single-digit turnovers.

• Butler is 18-1 this season when shooting
a better percentage than its opponent (the
Bulldogs out-shot Villanova, 48.1-47.5,
but lost in the BIG EAST semifinals).

• Butler is 13-1 this season when allowing
its opponent less than 70 points.

Was looking at some Kenpom comparisons between us and Butler and I noticed a bit of a correlation between our wins/loses and our opponent's offensive rebounding stats. I know you are thinking, "duh, good teams always have good rebounding stats", but bear with me and see the stats below. I feel our draw is a favorable one, especially compared to previous years.

I like your chances. If you make it to that 2nd round I think you all match up pretty good with Purdue. You have some bigs that can handle them down low. Your guard play just needs to be consistent to make a run.

Finished with all the info I think you need for the game. If anybody needs more info, I can post more info. I didn't want to make it too long.

I feel better about playing purdue than butler.

I know purdue has a 7'2 Center.
