I remember how I was when I was 18-19. I thought I knew everything and I really didn’t know fricking shite

A college football union is just going to get a bunch of people mad over whit that is not realistic or sustainable

Plus it isn’t right if every college athlete isn’t involved. I find it very disingenuous that these college students are whining about how they are treated unfairly but will be quick to tell the women’s soccer team to go frick themselves

They rely on those scholarships too.

Current makeup of SCOTUS would shoot this down

The reason school presidents want to cancel the season is so they don't have to deal with the labor issue. Cowardly way out.

To them its one lost season vs the entire system crumbling down.

It's wild watching them destroy their own sport. frick it, go ahead and do it killers, I'll get used to not watching college football, it's a luxury, not a necessity

Laugh all you will, no sport, no TV, no revenue, no way to pay contract. Pretty simple.

Devastating to schools. They will have to cancel multiple non-revenue sports and lose their cash cow sport.

A lot of boomers on this board will go into cardiac arrest if that happens. You'd have to pay for players (out in the open!).

I've been to Baton Rouge and virtually everyone there would patently disagree.

I don't doubt you but reality has a way of taking a toll on people's false beliefs eventually

It will be interesting to watch all the lives they will have altered because CFB will fail from here, and there will be limited outlets to get an education, or improve athletically for many. A vast majority of players will never be good enough to play pro, and there payment is playing a sport they love, top medical care, nutrition, room and board, a vast network of contacts, and an education with some even achieving master degrees.

Have at it boys and tell all the kids how you fricked up their futures because you thought you deserved more. Pro football should allow early draft entry and call it a day.

Go ahead. Then, send them all packing.
