Man, Dem horn fans are FEELIN IT right now…
Can you blame them? They’ve got 5* recruits all over the offensive skill positions
And Bama has a new QB and a new OC
The rumor is Saban has lost his edge…

Did you not watch the game yesterday when he was healthy?

and I'm not even counting AD Mitchell probably coming off the bench.
Ya'll have been trotting 5 star players out on the field since the Mack Brown era. None of those teams have amounted to a hill of shite for almost 15 years. Same thing with A&M. I'm telling you there's something in the water in Texas.

Bama is most likely starting Milroe, from what I saw of him. He's definitely not Bryce Young. Other than that the rosters are evenly matched. Who you got? (I'm saving this btw)

Typo? I'm sure you meant 53-17.
It's still Bama, Saban will work the running game and control the clock. We could win a tight one, but Bama is the only team running away with this one.

Texas shut down the running game last year, and they had a top 10 draft pick at RB.
You think giving up 161 yards rushing to a pass first offense last year is shutting something down ? Christ Jase averaged 16 ypc

Bama 42
Texas 20
Late td from texas makes it look better than it was.

QB - emaciated skinhead
RB - freshman
OL - Banks is the only one I will give you so far
TE - should have been a DE
WR - freshman
WR - butterfingers
WR - career scrub
Any questions? Banks is the only 5* you have that actually lives up to his billing. Maybe the freshmen will, and maybe pigs will fly too ...

Nice try friend, but top-to-bottom talent? Let's look at the last 4 year's recruiting rankings....
Bama: 1, 2, 1, 2
Texas: 3, 5, 15, 8
Texas has some talented players, but who has more talent overall?

It will be embarrassing when all those 5 stars lose by 10.

Let's be serious for a second, he was also erased from the game besides that long run.

He still averaged 3.5 yards on his other 5 carries and Bryce was 5.4 ypc including a long one of 20 yards.
Now if you want to talk about a shut down look what a very average Alabama D did to Sarks running game last year.

More importantly, Texas still has to play defense and they have virtually no talent on that side of the ball. Especially after the starters
Catalon is a decent player, but he received some coaching at Arkansas. No other players really have ...

Anything could happen, but that seems out of reach.
SoG did a good summary the other day.
quote:
With perhaps the greatest home slate in the last 40 years upon us, I thought it might be worth it to dive into an under-discussed part of the Saban era : our absolute dominance at home.
97-5 since 2008
46-1 since 2016
49-1 in our last 50
20 straight wins
Our 5 losses over the last 15 seasons
- 2010 Auburn by 1 (14-0 National Champion, Heisman winner)
- 2011 LSU by 3 (13-1 National Runner Up)
- 2012 Texas A&M by 5 (11-2 #5, Heisman winner)
- 2015 Ole Miss by 6 (10-3 #9)
- 2019 LSU by 5 (15-0 National Champion, Heisman winner)
So in the last 15 years we've only lost 1 home game to a team that didn't play in the national title game or have the Heisman winner. We've only lost 1 home game to a team that didn't finish in the top 5, and we lost the turnover margin in that game 5-0 and lost by 6.
We lost 1 home game with Golding. We lost 0 home games with BoB. We lost 1 home game in 2 years of Sims/Coker at QB.
Long story short, you better be pretty dang good to beat us in Tuscaloosa under Saban, even against Alabama teams that may not be the scariest of the era. And something to keep in mind given how our schedule sets up this season.
I'm more inclined to say Bama 31 - UTx 24.
Sark WILL have a great gameplan. Bama absolutely could lose. But, BDS under Saban has not been the place for big home losses.
