Favorite Tennessee vs Georgia game?

There has been a lot of great games from both sides in this series, which has only been annual since 1992.
Mine would probably be 2004. Georgia had a great team that season and was heavy favorite in Athens. UT pulled out a squeaker with freshman Erik Ainge making his first road start. In all honestly, that was probably one of Fulmer's best coached games of his career ( I don't say that often)
Honorable mention:
2006- Vols go from being down 17 at one point in the first half to blowing Georgia out in the 2nd half 51-33
2001- Hobnail Boot game That was one of the most talented Vol teams ever and we really didn't play a bad game. Huge, huge win for UGA and it really kicked off the Mark Richt/ David Greene era.
Eta: this was only the first of two times that the Chavis mustang package would rear its ugly head and cost us a game late.

01. I always wanted UGA to win that game back then, now it's opposite.

2009 - UGA couldn't cross our 35 yard line

Personally...1998. Both were undefeated. Quincey Carter this, Champ Bailey that. Gameday was in Athens. We sat around nothing but UGA fans and at the half, several UGA fans were discussing which goal posts they were going to tear down when they won, despite trailing at half. 22-3 UT victory, or something like that.

Idk what my favorite one is (2006 is up there) but 2001 is by far my least favorite. Matter of fact lets just strike the whole year from the record books. Yes, we beat Florida but that doesn't overcome the inexplicable SECCG loss

2001 is going to be every Georgia fan's answer.
I don't remember the year, but my second favorite memory was our 98 yard fumble recovery for a TD at the end of the first half. Thinking 2003 or something.

You would be correct. '03. Then the wheels came off.

#1 - Hobnail
#2 - 2003 game. Casey Clausen makes comment that he would have beaten Georgia with 1 arm tied behind his back after UT lost in 2002 when he was out with injury. Dawgs proceed to beat Vols 41 - 14 in Knoxville. Oh and he did in fact use 2 hands...

You know who also used 2 hands? Freshman Eric Ainge in '04 and Jonathan Crompton in '09. Yes, THE Jonathan Crompton break-out game...5 years into his scholarship,

I remember when he coughed up the ball and we returned it for a TD, Munson went to Loran Smith (on sideline) and Loran said, "Larry, we could see what the problem was down here on the field. Claussen had one arm tied behind his back."

That fumble is 03 was an absolute back breaker. I've never seen a bigger change of momentum in my life.

Uh, ya think? Chance to go up by 2 scores at half...then we just said 'frick it' and mailed it in.

I was in the stadium and I said the exact same thing, and will probably never see anything else like it. It was a close game all first half and we were up 6. UT about to go up 1 with momentum into half, and instead we go up by 14 with no time on the clock. We ended up scoring 3 TDs in the 3rd quarter to run away with it. The crowd went from into it and excited to absolute, stone cold silence in about 10 seconds.
