Lol. Definitely a big difference in that town. Though I was pissed when they opened that absurdly expensive bar on Frenchmen, with giant screens behind the stage.
Cooters was always overpriced, but had decent food. The fact that out went up is scary. But it was an awful place to watch games as a Bama fan. They let you know you weren't welcome. Hence why I started going to the Nail.
Though they really pissed me off during Bama LSU championship. They whored themselves to out of towners, so I ended up having to watch it on Bourbon St (oh, the horror).

I could show someone outside the South a Bogie's postgame and I think it would be a bigger experience than showing them the Grove.

Bogie's is the bar for visiting fans on game day. Most locals probably don't know this and have never been to the after party on a Saturday.

Went to Buddah Bar and Silver Dollar in Athens last weekend. Seemed fun.
Recess/Madison Social in Tallahassee is probably my fav place to go party though
