I think it's completely reasonable to say that if you go out due to injury that you have to sit out the remainder of the possession - I think that's enough to disincentivize without penalizing legitimate injury concerns.

Thats all fine and well until a player gets hurt, claims he is OK because he does not want to miss the entire possession, and gets seriously injured because of it....then folks will be hollering for more rules or an end to football altogether. Tempo is what causes it. Stop tempo offenses and the flopping stops. I don't care for the flopping and the tempo can create some equilibrium when a team is outclassed in depth and talent and makes for some interesting strategy...including floppiing.

On obvious fakes like this - the player should be out for the drive/possession and a 15 yd unsportsmanlike penalty on the head coach... that crap would end

If player health is of concern, stressing refs and defense to run back to the line, is more morally and ethically wrong than do what you to do to slow it down.

Herbstriet is Morally and ethically in the wrong for supporting yet another rule that helps the offense.

Alabama does this all the time vs UT. They'll do it again in Neyland this year.

If they do it all the time against Tennessee then show us some proof.
