I could see Kiffin making the jump to AU easily. He's already in the same division with the GOAT, but AU's ceiling is higher than OM's ceiling is -- AU can put together the resources necessary to win a natty better than OM can.
Kiffin at OM doesn't concern me. Kiffin at AU does.

Isn’t he already making like $7 million a year? Dude would be crazy to go to Auburn. He can win 7-8 games a year at Ole Miss and they will be happy.

I'm not sure Kiffin is rational like that. He knows he doesn't have the platform at Ole Miss to bark at Saban/Kirby very often. I don't think he's in their tier but he's obviously pretty driven by the idea of pursuing that level or at least being a notable thorn in their side.
Whether he views Auburn as a significant enough move to jump - who knows. But he's long been rumored to be interested in the AU gig. Presumably we'd have to pay tier 1 money for a guy who isn't at that level, so I'm mixed on it.

The fact that he has lobbied for every decent opening the last 3 years does not bode well for a long and distinguished tenure at OM.
