I can't argue if there are two undefeated BCS teams ahead of Alabama in this scenario.

Didn't stop the Big 10 or PAC 10 in the past.
It's all about perception. If Baylor ran the table they would be in the Fiesta Bowl. If A&M or 0U run the table they are in over a one loss Big 10 or Pac 10 team because their SOS will be good. Ok St probly too because they're ranked so high preseason. You have to take it on an individual basis.

How about this scenario: A big 12 team goes and gets slaughtered by a Pac 10 team who later has the Trophy taken from them.

It could happen if:
1. OU is ranked at or near the top when the BCS comes out,
2. OU blows everyone out every game, including FSU,
3. The representatives of the other conferences have 1 loss with no impressive wins, and
4. The 1 loss from the other teams comes late in the season

What if Bama is at #3 going into and winning the SECCG with a SOS in the Top 5 or 10.
Will you be ok watching OU play for the BCSNC with a far inferior SOS and no conference title game.

This is what I think some of you don't get. If Alabama wins the SEC with one loss, and Oklahoma and Oregon are undefeated, we will watch them play for the BCSNC. I realize some of you don't believe it, but that is what would happen.

The part of "some of you don't get it" is really about a playoff. There will be a season in the near future in which the two best teams in the country will be from the SEC, and both will watch the BCSNC on TV.

Depends. I would need more info. Oregon had the #2 SOS last year after bowls. What if Bama's loss was to LSU who Oregon would have beat to be undefeated?

If winning 12 bowls games, 2 BCS Games, 2 SEC Championships and being in the year end Top 10 5 times since 1992 means UGA is "underachieving"...then what do you call what Arknasas has done on that same timeframe... NOT ACHIEVING?
