We don't need any other schools in the SEC that are the sole representative, for that state, in the SEC. It is unfair to states that have to share recruits with multiple schools within same state, then you have Arkansas, LSU, Florida and South Carolina/Kentucky who get their whole state.

UT has MUCH less in-state competition than UF.

That's exactly why I want Mizzou and USF in the SEC. Missouri could challenge Arkansas for some of their recruits. And USF would at least get more consideration from the state of Florida's top talent.

Not a bad idea. Still,if it was up to me, the SEC would go back to 10.

Idk I guess I have a soft spot for Mizzou and USF. Oh speaking of that, a few days ago I read on a Mizzou site, that when the A&M was about to join the SEC they were trying to get the SEC to invite Mizzou to. Is this true, some sites said its true others say its not =/ And Baylor may lose to Texas Tech. But unfortunately if they lose UConn will be #1. It should be Stanford!!!!!!!

That's what I am saying, if we are going to expand, level the playing field by bringing in another school from a state that only has one team in the SEC. Would love to see Clemson, FSU or even Louisville. In the west bring in Texas Tech and TAMU. If you bring in a team from Texas then we would need two from Texas. A single Texas team in the west would dominate too much

NO. They put their eggs in the Big 10 basket thinking they were going with Nebraska. Now they're having to eat crow and save face.

I'll admit that Kentucky isn't a threat by itself, I don't see USC or UF reaLLy having the power to keep their sister schools out of the SEC, especially since it would be state legislators that would basically be ok'ing the move. And, if any school were to be invited to the SEC then the states would be smart enought to know that it would be a win-win situation. They would have big bucks from SEC/ESPN contracts to help supplement the schools budgets, relieving some financial strain on the respective states budgets.
