You're ranked 46th in the country, 9th in the SEC, and haven't had a single in-state commitment? Why would this be exciting?

their 3 four stars are all JUCO from the state of Mississippi and very few of their commitments have SEC offers, according to Rivals:

wayne dorsey - UT and MSU
brishen mathews - Ark
cliff coleman - USC
chase hughes - AU (we withdrew it but ill leave it), Vandy
clarence jackson - UK, UT
terrence hackney - msu

Juco players can't play? That's where most of MS' high school talent ends up.

You'll never have depth, if you become reliant on JUCOs in mass.

We have these Jucos because we have gaping holes in depth because of Orgeron.

Speaking of Yaw Yaw it looks like he is recruiting for UT the same way he did at OM. Mostly Dline and very few DB's

That's yaw yaw alright.

He signed like three DB's in his three years at Ole Miss.

iknow recruiting makes for fun and excitement for fans. But remember when you get a kid from louisiana, he either is not good enough or smart enough for LSU. It is not because he really like ole miss over LSU its because LSU really does not want him. Okay now you can go back to being excited.

Mississippi State is too busy recruiting In state players where Nutt is going after Fla, Bama, and LSU leftovers.

Dan Mullen has a very legit shot to sign 8 of the top 10 players in the state this year.

The two going elsewhere are
TE JT Dickson going to LSU
OT Shun Coleman going to Auburn

USM is recruiting the State of Mississippi better than Ole Miss as well.

I guess Nutt thinks he cant win with players from the state of which ths University he coaches as its name?????? Go Figure

Jackie Sherill proved back in the late 90's that you can indeed win at Mississippi State, and Dan Mullen is following his formula recruiting the best the state of Mississippi has to offer and also picking up 4-5 Mississippi JUCO guys.

They just cant qualify.

In state I expect us to sign:
Parker
Wells
Martin
King
Bennett

A Juco we have to have is Menzie

An out of stater might be Grimes.

You need to read the premium sites. Yancy from Scout and Neal from Rivals both think that Wells and King are strong Mississippi State leans.

The only in state players I see Ole Miss signing are Bennett and Martin from Madison Central and Parker from SOuth Panola, who more than likely wont qualify academically.

Good... MS talent is always overrated.

We'll still get Vincent Sanders and Carlton Martin from MS... I'd take the Olive Branch linemen, but we all know OB hates Ole Miss

Wells is still scheduled to visit Oxford. Which means dick but I think we still have a shot. I dont read Rivals cuz when a kid commits to Bama they automatically give him another star.
