I barely hear about Auburn. I do hear how down the SEC has been this year in football and basketball......

Where exactly are you hearing that the SEC is down in basketball? This is the strongest the conference has been as a whole in years.

Let's be real here. Kentucky is down this year. Mizzou is down. Florida is down. LSU, Bama, arkie, etc are all middle of the road. Is it really better? I thought 2006ish was better when florida, Kentucky and LSU were all final four material.

Let me hit you with a few facts (as opposed to your "thoughts"):

1. Every single metric points to the SEC being the best it has been in a long time.
2. We will likely get a record number of teams in the tourney.
3. Auburn is in 1st place in the conference.

These are not coincidences. These are facts. The only reason the SEC did so well in the SEC-Big 12 challenge is because teams had gotten better by playing against Auburn or teams were desperate to get better because they knew Auburn was on their schedule in the future.

Facts are facts. I am not asking you to keep up.

Just to say thanks to my team.
