If you put aside all the bs at Louisville that makes him impossible to hire (and confirms consistently bad character) I would welcome it. I was excited when he went to Louisville.

ETA-I was wayyyyyyy in the minority.

Agree with your post here. Think that’s a disgusting hire.

And earlier, I wasn’t necessarily saying I want Stansbury, or that WKU isn’t better. I just think about $ and potential a lot when talking about the better place for someone to coach.. Guess everyone has a different way of looking at it though

Georgia produces tons of top recruits almost every year. There’s no reason a top coach wouldn’t take the job if the university stepped up and offered a competitive package. But you can’t get anyone good to come and stay for $1-2 mil a year.

I’d take him at A&M

I think it’s funny how about 97.8% of the league had worse coaches than Stans for the bulk of his run at MSU but now hiring him is somehow the death knell for a program. Dude is 9th best in the SEC for all-time wins. He’s also turning things around in Bowling Green in year 2. You can knock him for not having gotten past the 2nd round but what’s been the alternative for most SEC teams for the last 20 years? Not making the tourney at all. Well I guess you don’t have to flame out that way.

Why? What good does it do us to fire him now? Our season's done, and unless the players want Fox gone now there's no reason to fire him in season. Bad look IMO.

Perhaps Fox deserves to finish out the season out of goodwill. But damn he needs to get gone.

It is pretty simple in life in general.....you get what you pay for. No way TPTB will let Bball overshadow FB from a salary standpoint.
