But we were told the greatest since Lebron is attending LSU...How could this be?

Yep. Add Newman and hopefully Diello or Brown with Zimmerman, we will be more than fine.

Jerry agrees:

.@WhoDatCatsFan I have Stephen Zimmerman & Thon Maker 2 Kentucky now. Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram, Malik Newman, Cheick Diallo all possible

I just listened to an interview on Gary Parrish's show and the discussed Skal. The thing with him is that he really hasn't played organized basketball in two years. He has apparently just been playing people away at the Hoop Summit practices. The CBS guy Parrish was talking to said if Skal was in this draft it would be a tough choice between Towns, Skal, and Okafor for the #1 pick.

He finally scrimmaged against Simmons' team today and Skal's team apparently won pretty easily.

Experts have been saying Skahl has major upside and could develop into another Anthony Davis type of a player. Hope the kid gets clearance to play, I trust Sandy Bell dotting all the i's and crossing the t's to make sure he qualifies.

Been meaning to ask you how you and your young one are doing after seeing that bad accident WildcatMike. That is unless I have someone completely different in mind... in which case assume that I suffered a concussion recently.

Towns and Booker will be superstars in 3 years time.

Towns, yes of course.

Booker, no. He can play in the league but he's a fringe guy. Not nearly athletic enough to get his own shot or guard NBA 2s. I'm surprised he came out actually.

Thanks for asking. Since we heard the guy survived, it has made myself and daughter feel much better. It was reposted he was trying to catch the bus...my daughter seems to be handling it pretty well, took me some time to be comfortable to drive at night near the scene of the accident. I feel bad for the college kid that hit him...no charges were filed against him.

What does that have to do with Booker? The two aren't comparable at all.

Booker can stick on a roster of he finds the right situation. Maybe even be a rotational player for someone but he won't be an NBA star. Anyone who thinks so does not follow the NBA. He's a spot up shooter for someone, at best.

Towns is the only NBA star on that roster. Lyles would be the next best bet.

Did I say they were making a mistake?

There is plenty of money to be made on the end of an NBA bench or even overseas.

If they don't want to play college ball anymore then more power to them.

To the college game and the NBA. Both are garbage now because of it.

Are you opposed to Ben Simmons and Malik Newman playing for LSU?

Booker will be a very good pro imo. There is a major premium on shooting in the NBA right now. He has a great pull up game and can finish around the rim. Needs to get better on defense. I see a lot of similarities to what Klay Thompson looked like coming out of college. I think he will be the 2nd or 3rd best pro out of bunch (Towns and Lyles).
