that isn't what Chavis likes

Beckwith was very successful last year at almost 250 lbs in the linebacker position.

Watts is better than Mills at safety and will only be a sophomore this year

Speedy Noil will just abuse White for the 2nd year in a row...

My breakdown was biased? Actually I posted stats and a synopsis of those stats. You're the biased one if you choose to ignore them.

And you're right, I don't know what kind of athletes ya'll have on defense but I know for a 100% fact that they're not as good as LSU's were last year and I gave my reasoning as to why ya'll are going to suck if you give up 5.3-5.5 yards per play next year, which is much more likely than ya'll magically turning it around and giving up 4.5 like Alabama and other elite teams.

By all means, don't hear my completely biased breakdown AKA posting statistics but I'll make sure to get back with you when Arizona State crams it up ya'll's arse in the first game of the season

It's so hard for you to have an actual football conversation without taking off the Maroon glasses.

Beckwith is an exception in the list of Chavis LBs. He's a Steele LB anyway now.

Watts is a pure safety while Mills is a hybrid.

Speedy Noil didn't "abuse" white and he certainly won't this year.

One middle linebacker =/= the five 205 pound linebackers we had playing on the outside

Hmm yea you're a dumbass

Yea he abused him yet ya'll only put up 17 points on us. Hopefully that abuse turns out as well for ya'll this year as it has the past 4 years!

I'm not gonna touch any of the rest of it but if you don't know who Armani watts is, youre not a football fan, you're just an LSU fan.

Actually I'm a pretty avid football fan but I only keep up with teams and players that don't suck

Texas - another season where they struggle to win games.

Maybe, but Strong will right that ship. Look at all the players Louisville just sent to the draft.

Texas A&M - Chavis will disappoint.

Can that happen? They're usually overrated, but I don't think so, this year. They still have great players and the upgrade at DC should be huge, even if Chavis never matches what he did at LSU.

Arkansas - win 10 games this season.

I'll say that I hope you're right and leave it at that.

Armani had 58 tackles with 3 picks as a true freshman compared to Mills 1 INT. And you say Armani is a "no name" safety?

He will thrive this year with the return of a solid LB corp and defensive line.

Coming from the guy that just posted a weird arse overdramatic 60 line reply to my first post mocking A&M fans? Gotcha, I'll keep that in mind. Watts is definitely better than any defensive back LSU has and I should be in complete agreement that Chavis has as much talent to work with at A&M as he did at LSU, am I making us look good yet?

Compared to what we had the past two years yes the LB corp will be solid this year

Go back and tell me how many interceptions LSU has had as a whole since Chavis took over. You have no clue what you're talking about, we never consistently had a lot of turnovers in the Chief era because he didn't put any pressure on the QB and they didn't usually make mistakes against us. That's why I say that it's ridiculously important that he has 5* defensive backs. But really, keep posting meaningless stats that don't tell the whole story, you definitely don't sound uneducated to somebody that watched every LSU game for 5 years straight

Guess what? Chavis doesn't give a shite about LSU anymore. He is going to utilize what we have and allow Myles and company to apply pressure on opposing QBs at will

But hey keep melting

So you're saying that he's going to completely change the philosophy that he used for 15 straight years at LSU and Tennessee at 60 years old to "apply pressure to opposing QB's at will"? Are you stupid or just delusional? And who exactly is "and company" when you refer to Myles and company? Because last time I checked A&M's line this year doesn't compare to Mingo and Sonic Sam "and company" that we had a few years ago that still looked vanilla. But really, tell me more about how closely you've payed attention to Chavis' scheme at LSU
