Every sport other than football question...

Why aren't traditional rivals scheduled to play the last regular season game/series in every sport? Auburn/Alabama, State/UMiss, LSU/A&M, UT/Vandy, Arky/Mizzou should play the last game of every sport. Like Duke/UNC in basketball. Just would strengthen the rivalries. Especially when there is a lot on the line as far as postseason positioning.

UT traditionally plays Vandy last in football.

I reckon it would just be a cluster with making sure every team has had enough home games and making sure everyone plays everyone
