Interesting. How many coaches in the country have coached in the championship game?
Coached in? Several.

Even Ed Orgeron, Gene Chizik, and Jimbo Fisher won one. Did the guy you are referring to win?

Texas vs A&M
LSU vs Mizzou
Oklahoma vs Arkansas

Oklahoma and Arkansas had a sort of series back before 1926. Since then the two teams have played each other exactly three times (1977, 1986, 2001) and those were all bowl games so there is no rivalry.

An actual rivalry that would draw a lot of interest would be an OOC game with Oklahoma State. Sooner fans will point out a series record of 91-20-7 hardly constitutes a rivalry but it would be a big draw for fans of both schools.

While this is the obvious choice, I'd love to see you guys have LSU as a permanent rival played on Thanksgiving weekend. It may not be much of a rivalry now, but 20-50 years from now, I think you'd have something pretty great..

I wish we played LSU each year too..

Perhaps LSU & Mizzou should be permanent opponents who play on Thanksgiving.. there is a something strange that goes on between these two, and perhaps that needs to be explored..

Texas vs A&M
LSU vs Mizzou
Oklahoma vs Arkansas

Thanksgiving 2045

Nah…

I’d rather play them in week 0, and get the automatic win they hand out every year.
