Currently, what I'm doing, technically is funding "student athlete religious enrichment seminars" or at least that's why I get to deduct the money from my taxes. I'm amazed that NONE of the other 13 SEC schools have not figured this system out, but maybe y'all are doing it differently with even more elaborate schemes. If so, please divulge how it works because we are always looking for new ideas- especially if TAX DEDUCTIBLE

Aside from a supreme court ruling on the unconstituionality of the NCAA governing body, nothing is changing. Ever.
In the O'Bannon case, the law is on the players side unless Roberts just lets them make up statutes from the bench.
Either way, I'm going to do what is best for AU with or without Supreme Court, NCAA or SECrant approval

Don't know how much you've payed for the players you have down on the plain but its too much. Trust me.

only a dozen U's can even afford it and you'd have to pay women too and they bring zero revenue to the school.

I'd like to personally thank Auburn for all their current research towards developing a working pay-4-play standard.

Ah, Auburn. Home of the Mises Institute and perhaps the most pro-free-market economics department in the South. Glad to see that cutting-edge entrepreneurial spirit is bleeding over into other aspects of the university's functioning

All I know is that we would buy ourselves a dynasty if pay for play was allowed.
