The unique thing here is LSU and Ole Miss have a point of reference to apply to this already. Ed Orgeron was 100% a "never won anything coach" who had a totally failed tenure at Ole Miss and then came to LSU and won a national championship by fielding what is often debated to be one of the greatest college football teams ever.
Lane Kiffin had much greater success at Ole Miss prior to coaching at LSU, and unlike Orgeron, Ole Miss did not fire Kiffin and attempted with great vigor to retain his services.
So the above really points in the direction of LSU fans not being too worried about the "never won anything coach" who took Ole Miss from national irrelevance to the CFP being a stupid hire. I dare say everyone sees through your facade of confidence in Kiffin's poor coaching skills for what it is, which is pain and anger that he departed Ole Miss at the peak of his success and the knowledge that his departure likely means Ole Miss will not see this level of success again and has nothing to show for it, along with an insecurity and nagging fear that Kiffin will replicate this success at his new school. You will naturally resent LSU and Kiffin for this, which is understandable, but just know that the faux attitude and argument you presented in your OP is very transparent and we all know that you don't really believe it. You need to see a therapist and I hope you find your inner peace...
