Yea, but the good thing is that all these pointless "who gets in/who doesn't get in" threads will be gone by tomorrow night

Forget tomorrow night, poll poistion is released midday Sunday. By then we will know who is in, with all the computer manipulators around here

Or are they post-poning polls for later on in the day?

I think Bama-LSU would draw higher rating than LSU-OSU. Just my humble and unfounded opinion.

Feel bad for OSU but I think the rest of the country does not view them as one of college football's elites. If it were between a team like Michigan and Alabama, there would be a lot more uncertainty and debate going on as to who should go to the championship game.

ESPN is not a neutral party in anything they do. They are a business and goal #1 is to make money.

Now whether they think Bama can make them some extra money, I don't know. They are definitely taking a different approach this time compared to the Michigan/OSU rematch possibility several years ago.

I know they aren't. It's weird how they are just writing off OSU.

What I see is that the gameday crew actually wants an all SEC matchup so they can help bring the BCS down, or they are trying to play reverse psychology and piss off voters as if they don't have a choice.

Maybe this?

I think polls for this last weekend are typically held off until the selection show. But it's the internet, shite will leak somehow.

As for LSU fans, the non-retarded ones have simply been stating it is far from a lock for the rematch if OSU wins their game convincingly. They are the only team however in position to make the jump, but they wouldn't need something as drastic as unanimous #2 to do it.

We'll see.

its got nothing to do with ESPN:

with the polls and computers deciding it-

Bama has to fall to at least 4th in every human poll for anybody else to even have a chance-

And even then it would have to be the same team at #2 in the polls...

Bama is in

Dude this does not add up. OSU has the #2 Comp ranking. If Bama drops to 3 in the polls, u do the math

I havent looked at it- and I'm not pretending I know it all

I'm just telling you what the BCS formula expert was telling Van Pelt earlier this week- he said the gap in the ratings were so big right now- Bama would have to drop to 4th in all the human polls for anybody else to have a chance

And this is why ESPN and others are already saying LSU vs Bama

Interesting turn events by CNS this morn. Early during the week he said LSU was "probably" one of the best teams in the country. Now he has said definitively we are
