Naw not upset at all about 9 Omaha appearances since 2002 and countless wins compared to TNs two appearances and zero wins.
We got two trophies this year in baseball. TN 0 and Vandy 1.

Also, DVH goes to Omaha on average every 2 years at Arkansas. That NomaHogs doesnt make sense especially when we got the same amount of wins in Omaha this year

I think fan facilities and gameday are way overblown for athletes. If the locker room is big enough, then that works. Of course, if you have fancy locker rooms and lounges, sure. But do players care if the fans have a club level or not? No. Do they care if fans can watch the game while eating a hamburger? No.
Same for football. Do players really care about a school's tailgating? When to they even get to see it other than a walk through before the game? It's overrated for recruits/players, as are the exterior/interior looks of the stadium. As far as the stadium, players only care about locker rooms and how loud the fans can get. And they probably don't care that much about the noise, or USC wouldn't get any 5-star players.
Players do care about the extras--dorms, weight rooms, lounges, etc. But the article doesn't mention those. State has decent extras. Nothing like UK, of course, but decent.
Mostly they care about winning. Was State the worst job in the SEC in 2004 when we won the SEC?

Its funny you bring up the NBA though.
My current coach has coached in the NBA (finished 2nd to Pop for COTY one year) for two teams. Has numerous connections of NBA coaches he still talks with weekly.
Penny has gotten an interview. Rick has gotten no chance to coach in the NBA. What does that say about his coaching? Cant even get an interview to coach in the NBA?

lol trust me I hate Memphis.
I was born in that town and lived there before college so cant stand the Tigers at all.
They do have a good basketball history though.
Im not a fan of TN because I had a cousin that played basketball there so its always been a family rivalry.
