no they wouldn't

They're also a much different team without their QB.

They would beat Notre Dame with this QB....

Vandy almost beat them, they are a paper tiger.

ND is the legacy bid you had to tolerate in the fraternity. Not a total embarrassment, but wouldn't be in without the help.

I hope they get embarrassed and never welcomed back. UCF should be in over them IMO.

Notre Dame would be at best a 10 point favorite over UCF

okay lets use the transitive property here.

We beat Mizzou, Mizzou beat Florida.

What does that mean?

Transitive property plays here because of the massive Gap in talent and play of elite teams versus those that struggle to beat mediocre ones...

Huge gap.

ND is one of those teams that gets credit just for their name. Half the teams they hype them playing are the same way. A majority of the old powerhouses are average at best now.

The world must be ending. I am in complete agreement with an Auburn fan over this statement. And for the record, I only really saw 3 teams on their schedule that have been powerhouses the last 15 to 20 years....

Michigan, Florida State, and USC..the real one.

ESPN having to hype this game because they know it will be a bloodbath

Cheap way to get ratings

Dunno bout UCF, but I hear ya. ND belongs in the conversation, just not the game & will likely keep it close enough.

NCAA will continue to do anything they can to keep balance in the CFP. If the B10, ND & P12 cant compete for the NC the heat will eventually get turned up to a boiling point.

In fairness, the conferences are competing for the same prize, but it's not a level battle field.. got throw the others a bone to keep the peace.

Your post has me ready to go storm Jerusalem, take down the dome and replace with a steeple and put a giant cross on top it. But as for ND, God hates them. He is clearly an Alabama fan.

Ball State, Vandy, Pitt, Navy....

Teams that fielded their worst teams in a generation USC, FSU, Va Tech.

Best win , Michigan who got smoked by OSU.

UCF has deeper talent with the Florida HS castoffs....

Yep and Vandy a 6-6 team played 3 cupcake OOC and the three worst SEC teams.

I hope they (ND) get embarrassed.

I will def be going for Clemson.

Not trying to pump ND or anything , but they did change QB's in the Vandy game. Ian Book went 3/3 with a TD. That makes a difference.

They're overrated, just like always. They'll get destroyed by a team with talent.

I don't like that them being in the playoff takes any of the true hate off Clemson.

Sure everyone hates them too but ND seems to have spot number 1 and that makes me sad.
