Waddle An odd guy to leave out of the first round.

Mac
Devonta
Waddle
Surtain
are locks to be 1

Barmore (late first early second), not many DE/DT on this year boards so there won't be a run on dline it just depends on a team that likes him or they feel they can wait and fill that need in later round
Leatherwood (what do teams see him as - a tackle or guard? Probably early 2nd on him as their are several oline ahead of him
Najee (could be late 1st and it will likely come down to him or Etienne and possibly the UNC RB)-otherwise early 2nd

I've looked at a dozen mock drafts over the last several hours and every single one of them had Najee going to the Steelers at pick #24.

Just FWIW.

RB aren't nearly as coveted anymore
Only one went last year in round 1
Dolphins and Steelers seem to be the team most likely to go RB route for where they are picking

Cornerback Patrick Surtain is who you’re missing.
Yeah he is a 1st Rd. lock.

What DB from DBU is projected to have his name called tonight?

Well considering DBU starting db's were all underclassmen what do you expect?
The only one draft eligible is Jacoby Stevens who is probably more suited to play LB in the NFL

I'm not sure Surtain doesn't transition to S at some point

Leatherwood is a bigger risk to fall because almost everyone thinks he’s a college OT to pro OG and I agree. Unless you’re an exceptional guard prospect, you’re not a day 1 pick in the draft. He’s not even played guard in four years.

You never know because no one expected James Carpenter to go 1st round. He played/started at LT in JUCO and the same the next 2 years at UA. Never played guard in college and was projected to the NFL as a guard. where is was drafted as a guard in the late first round.

How big is it to have a back like Najee that brings size, athleticism, and hands like a receiver to the offense? The Saints sure seem to be getting a lot of mileage out of Alvin Kamara. Najee is a bigger version of that.
