What diss this mean then?
We didn’t “join” you anywhere. We’ve been on another SOS level for quite some time, and will be again this year.

Pretty sure we were in line before you guys were, at least in recent history. Thanks for joining us!

It means this season. As in the OP and subject of the thread. Hence listing this years opponents.
Talk to me when you win a title then little dick man.

Were you even alive the last time Arkansas won an SEC Title?
Auburn has won four since your last. We’ve won two SEC Tournament titles since your last. We’ve been to two Final Four’s since your last.
No one cares about your 40-year old dusty banner.

I said talk to me when you win a natty. Why are you talking to me? Go back to the poverty line with your poverty program.

I’m sure he will be a better NBA player, NBA drafts on potential you know this.
I wouldn't count on that. Clayton was looking pretty damn good in summer league. Banking on anyone being as good or as clutch as Clayton is a crazy long shot. That being said I like the way our guards are shaping up. I think Fland is really going to step up his game this year.
I'll add in that most everyone is talking about their stud freshman coming in, but ignoring how good the two Florida freshman have looked so far. Both lloyd and Ingram will be studs imo.

It’s mind boggling to me how we aren’t pre season top 25. Back to back years of NCAAT berths and returning arguably the best player in the SEC. There are some pretty lofty expectations for this years
I don’t know that I necessarily agree, I think State will be a good team but there are questions beyond Hubbard. I think this will be more of a Jans style team and generally like the projected starting 5, but I think there are fair questions about how much quality depth State has.
Hubbard, Epps, and Ballard should be good players. I’m not sure what I think of Jones as a regular starter, but he’s a Jans style dirty work guy. Achor has potential but also didn’t last the whole season at K-State last year, and after two years of being burned by Andrew Taylor and Kanye Clary… you hope the third time is the charm.
Beyond that, I like McGhee and Ali and presume they’ll be in the rotation, but a lot of question marks after those two guys. Can any of the four freshmen play immediately? Are Chol or Warren improved enough for bigger roles? Is the transfer from Serbia good enough to play? There’s also another transfer from Montana State who I’m not how good he is exactly.
Point being…. I personally get why State wouldn’t be ranked. But they play a tough noncon schedule and have opportunities to make early statements. Heck, we play Houston in an exhibition game soon as well.
