This will have zero impact on the game, teams often rally and become focused when suspensions happen. There goes any posssibility of LSU looking ahead

Per more than one source on the radio, suspension for failed drug test means it was a second violation. According to the "LSU rules", that means either not playing 20% of the season or 30 days. If this is true, then they are out, whether that be Ware, Mathieu, Simon or all three or a combination, for the Auburn, Alabama, WKU and Ole Miss games. They would be able to come back to the Arkansas game. Seriously, how can anyone be this stupid
That wouldn't make much sense for their drug policy to be like that. 20% of the season would be.... 2 games? 30 days would be 4.

The policy was linked earlier. It's 15% and 15% of remaining games is how many?

les needs to learn what a fricking broom is and how to use it. stuff like this needs to be swept under the rug

Does anyone else have that stomach turning nauseating feeling that I have? That feeling of total let down and disgust?
I feel sorry for Les right now. If there were ever a time when a curb stomping was deserved, it would be now, IMO.

So per the policy, if this occurred after game 11, he would miss a total of 9 minutes of the first quarter of Game 12?
Awesome policy!

I can't wait to see what the line drops to. 17 or 18? I'm going to be all over it on LSU.

FWIW, I hope they are back for the Bama game.

Is it left in season, or 15% of season?
I hope all 3 play against Bama. I want to either beat you at your best or lose to you at your best. No excuses either way.

How does anyone know this is the second failed drug test?
Maybe les is trying to send a message to the team to not frick around and smoke and shite.

interesting comment from rant
maybe a possibility???
maybe a possibility???

Perhaps Les has learned from his previous mistakes of letting star players off with warnings.
Perhaps based on the incidents during fall camp, Les decide enough was enough and rules will be stricter.
SEC policy requires suspension after a 2nd offense, but doesn't require one after a first, although the school can suspend at that point.
The 2 positive tests before suspension is simply a maximum.
Why is it so far-fetched to believe that maybe this was their first blown test, and Les decided to suspend them for 1 game to make his point quite clear.
Les looked so distraught after the Shady's incident that I wouldn't put it past him.
He's not going to let this season be put at risk by players being selfish.
Hopefully this is the case if the failed drug test stuff is true. Either way, LSU still will put a great team on the field Saturday, and I'll be cheering my arse off for them.

Come on, hbT... You'd bash the hell out of another SEC coach if they swept it under the rug. I don't think it's worthy of a multi-game suspension, but a missing a game is fitting, IMO.

15 percent of the season, not the remaining games.
