How about you call me when Alabama has the basketball rep that Arkansas has. We will always get the benefit of the doubt. You can gp back to the year we beat Indiana in the first round a few years back. We lost 12 games that year.
We get Bama and Ole miss at home to close out the year. We will beat both of you. Recent losses to us by two teams we are considered "close" to on the bubble sways things our way.

Similar numbers kept Bama out of the tournament last year.
Because you are Bama.
Arkansas is on a different weighted scale, it is similar to your #2 favorite sport, NASCAR, we get a past champion provisional...

Y'all put way too much hype in to the RPI rankings.
So does the selection committee. In case you haven't noticed, teams ranked 50 or below in the RPI seem to find their way in to the tournament.

No they don't. You should probably go check the last couple of years.
Good RPI doesn't carry near the weight it used to.

I didn't realize there was an exception granted to former national champions.
Your schedule and hence your RPI was better when you lost 12 games and got into the NCAA. Getting into the tournament depends more on who you played than who you beat. Not saying it should be that way, but at present it is.
Arky is taking the same fricking this year that Bama took last year. Bama was 12-4 in SEC last year and got left out. WHY? RPI. Bad losses and West was weak.
Bama was 4-4 against top 50 RPI and was left out.
I don't deny that you are likely to beat Ala and Ole Miss at Bud Walton, but if you don't have a win away from there you will only be highly seeded in the NIT.
Going forward next year if you want to assure yourself a spot in the NCAA, CMA is going to have to upgrade that nonconference schedule. It was lame.

He did this year by adding UCONN and Michigan.
I will be surprised to not see games like this to continue on the schedule.
When being on the bubble, being Arkansas gets you in, being Bama leaves you out, just how it is.
No one expected Arkansas to make the tourney, the NIT was in doubt due to all that we lost from last year's team before and during the season.

I hope you're joking. This isn't the early 90's anymore brah. You've been irrelevant for almost 20 years now.

I'm not sure he gets it. If you put Arkansas on Alabamas jersey last year, its an Ncaa team.
There are only a few programs who have ever won 40 Ncaa tourney games, and Arkansas is one of them.
Arkabsas always has and always will get the benefit of the doubt with the comittee.

The big3 of the SEC will always be given the benefit of the doubt over the mediocre 11.

You have missed the point. Reasons for your high RPI are:
1) no road wins;
2) 7 wins against teams with RPIs over 200. Give up the cupcakes, schedule some games against top 125 rpi teams.

No, I gave you correct information.
Pel was determined to win the SWAC one day, hence the scheduling while he was here.
CMA wants to get the schedule back to where it was when Nolan was here, it will be improved over the next few years. (current contracts and shite)

How stupid are you? Our OOC consisted of OU, Uconn, and Michigan.
Don't talk about beefing up basketball schedules with Arkansas fans when we yearly play historically good programs.
We've been stepping up to the plate to play good teams across the nation since the 1940's. Good lord man

Georgetown is the only ranked team you guys played, and y'all played them at home!

Your nonconference schedule also includes such powerhouses as:
La Tech 204
Eastern KY 208
Savannah St 211
Utah Valley 218
Texas So 260
SE LA 319
Grambling 342
By God you are right. Arky will get in the tournament. You get the automatic bid for winning the SWAC.

Whoopty do. We also have marquee names on our OOC as well.
Not sure what point ur trying to make here. Our schedule looks like most of the nations. Only we have better wins than Alabama.

Yes, we should have played Northern Florida, Utah Valley, Detroit, Jacksonville, and Alabama A&M instead.

It is impossible to talk logically to them. Their team is better than your team no matter what!

The NCAA ain't the Masters. No exemption for former champions.
When was ARKY's last NCAA win? And Hawgs think Bama football fans are delusional.

Name last team selected to NCAA tournament that did not have a road win or neutral court win. Until then, STFU.
