All of these teams you are talking about aren't even good. Alabama sucks at basketball.

So where does Washington rate, with their BPI of 55. At around twice the suckage of Bama.

So you believe in meaningless ratings? I'd rather be 1st place in my conference and have won 7 of 8. Bama has been irrelevant in basketball for the last 5-6 years. Nice 6-6 conference record.

How do you feel about Romar? He seems to largely underachieve for the most part.

Conference championships are overrated, see Bama football 2011 NC.

As far as meaningless ratings, these numbers are ESPN's so start an argument with them if you like.
You will likely have to win the Pac-12 since there is talk that the amazing PAC-12 could be a 1-2 bid league. Doesn't say much for western basketball.

Don't recall Washington being in many Final Fours, did I miss something?

Maybe we will see you in the tourny. Good luck if you don't win that formidable basketball conference.

If making the sweet 16 as an 11 seed and barely losing to #1 UNC (and the refs) last year in the 2nd round equals underachieving.... then I guess so.

Wasn't he on the hot seat with UW a few years back? Or am I remembering incorrectly

Seat was a little warm... never hot though. We had a few off years but we are back now.

Okay. I'm glad my memory isn't terrible. Y'all and Cal are looking best for bids out of the Pac 12 right?

Cal, UW and maybe Zona. All have potential to go far in the tourney... just look at Zona last year no one saw them going to the Elite 8. No one thought UW would be in the Sweet 16 in 2010 either.

I think I read yesterday night that Arizona may be screwed since they've lost to both you and Cal

They will get in because of their name. They got in with 14 losses 3 years ago I believe. The whole selection process is a joke... it has more to do with name than resume.

I was thinking, we better hope Green comes back. If the team only wins home games from here out the committee could say we're not the same team without certain players and hold that against us. I think Green will come back, but if his relationship with Grant were to sour, you never know.

UConn currently a 9 seed on bracketology despite being 10th place in the Big East (6-8 conference record) and losing 7 of their last 9 games. Shows what a joke the selection committee/talking heads are.
