Not saying anyone else has, but you act like you have one of the best programs in the NCAA... and that's not even close to being true...

Florida.

Guess what all have in common...

Same thing Bama never will.

No wonder I didn' t associate Florida with the big three, as Florida used to win championships in football. The other two, not so much.

We are discussing Basketball.

Florida and Arkansas have been able to win NCs in both, Bama isn't on our level.

Agreed. But a prior national championship will not get you in the NCAA this year without a road win or neutral court win. To date, you have neither. You still have 4 more chances, but as of today you are 0-7 in those games. Just sayin

Historically, yes, Arkansas is one of the better programs in the country. Top 10-12 IMO.

Isn't Ohio State on that list also? Or do they just go to the Final 4 and lose in Finals or Semis?

Last Ohio State championship was in 1960.

I just saw list top 10-12 programs so that's why I added them. Then saw teams that had more NC than Ark, so thought yeah they belong. Sorry I'll go back to the card table and eat with the kids.

Finally mizzou's year? I haven't been watching closely. Is Arkansas good this year? Are they projected to make the tournament?

Arky on the bubble but needs to get a road win in order to get in the tourney. 17-0 at Bud Walton but 0-8 in road or neutral site games. Some nice rpi wins, some bad rpi losses. Weak nonconference schedule, Arky's rpi currently 69. Got work to do but has a chance.

Every team can't be undefeated in the SEC and ranked #1 in the country.

I am starting to feel better about a six point loss at Rupp, after the way you dismantled the Gators at the O'Dome. I actually thought Vandy could beat KY in Nashville due to the Cats' struggles in that building, but that defense can win anywhere.

Only way to beat KY is to have a front line that can get Davis in foul trouble. No way to beat KY if he is on the floor.

Looking at Lunardi's latest projection, Alabama is still one of the 5 SEC teams in the projected field. He doesn't have Ole Miss or Arkansas listed among the first 8 out vying for a spot at this point in time.

We get our players back and finish the conference 9-7 or 8-8 (with a win in SEC tourney)and we get in. Need 9-7 to remain an 8-9 seed.

Ole Miss has a better RPI than ARKY but Arky has a better schedule and chance to improve its rpi. Arky is desperate for a road win . Last 6 games are crucial to Bama, OM and Arky, but Bama can play their way out and Arky and OM can play their way in.

If we can finish 9-7 and keep our RPI at about 38 or better, I'll feel fine. Sure we'd get the 8 or 9 seed, but making the tournament is an improvement over the past years. I guess it'll depend on whether we get our team back or not.

Any word on what lead to the suspension. Can't believe it was a severe infraction if Steel and Releford were involved.

Personally I would rather be seeded anywhere other than 8-9. Means you meet a #1 if you win your game. Better to be 10-12 or a 4-7 than 8-9 seed.
