A very thoughtful and interesting analysis of Roberts and her story, written by John Carvalho, an Auburn University professor of journalism.

This whole thing will give me more time to golf on Saturdays since we will no longer have a football team.

BS...I want to hear the tapes and let the chips fall where they may. Because if she is being an idiot I want her exposed. If that shite was going on at Auburn I want it exposed.

So? If we actually did something wrong, prove it. I'm sick of this dog and pony crap to get Internet hits, that ends up flaring out without any real substance.
If AU did something wrong, and she has evidence put it out there so we can be punished.

Every radio hosts and journalist who interviews Selena Roberts should challenge her to release the unedited tapes. Let it all out.

the thing i hate most about the story is they way they qualify roberts and chiz as former sports illustrated and NYT columnist and former auburn coach.
I wish they'd say currenlty unemployed journalist and equally unemployed coach. Just to remind us how unemployed chiz is. Wins title...can't get job.

Cheating allegations aside, who thinks McNeil is innocent?
I can very easily see it going down just as described in her story - He wasn't in on the planning and he didn't know they were pulling a robbery.
Assume her version is 100% true. If that was/is the case, then he could have made a very sympathetic defendant but he went in the house, saw what was happening, and his choice of action was to basically tell them to hurry up. He had a moment to choose. At the very least, he could have turned around, walked out the door, and kept right on walking. Instead, he got back in the car and became an instant accomplice.
He's as guilty as the other three.
