IMO, the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. Roberts' past suggests she's pretty loose when it comes to ethics, but I doubt she outright misquoted these players.

I don't know her from adam, so i don't know if she has any. There seems to be some stuff out there about duke lacross but just because she missed that one doesn't mean she hasn't hit the mark here...conversley just because she may have been right in the past doens't mean she's right here.

Yeah, this is one of the more retarded statements Ive seen from someone acting like they have a clue what they are talking about since ATPB. The NCAA has 100% power over anything concerning the university itself. They comply, or they lose their NCAA charter. End of story.
The trip up is where there are no legal consequences for lying to the NCAA. The worst someone can get for that is the NCAA forcing the university to fire them if they get ironclad proof that they lied. Which has proven hard to do on the plains.

To be honest, I don't want to hear tapes or anything else... i'd like to move on and never hear about this again. Having her trot out and play recordings will just cause us all to relive the story.
Roberts may stretch the truth, but she's not an idiot... I'd bet money she recorded the interviews (and I wouldn't be surprised if they're edited in a way that makes her look good).
