The quote you’re responding to references helping students in need, not helping LSU, which is what Reid was complaining about (money going to facilities and not impoverished students). In fact, Michael Divinity called Reid out on this as well and said he knows some students that would love Reid’s help. Problem is, people like Reid never step up themselves.
