Exactly. The University has the right to implement its own policies for what speech is acceptable at its events and to revise those policies whenever it wants, no question. But reversing a stance it had for 20 years in the middle of a game via police escort is just egg on the face of the administration. If they want to change the policy, they should have a sit down with the Antlers or publish some new guidelines to make it clear what things that *used* to be allowed in the arena are no longer allowed. Handling it bit by bit and word by word is gonna become a circus sideshow at every Mizzou hoops game and is absolutely the wrong way for the administration to handle this.

Nope, they just get there earlier than all of the other students so they can get the best available seats other than the ones reserved for Zou Crew.

They lost their designated seats years ago, due to, well, the controversy of some of the stuff they said. 1990s I think. In the 1980s they did have designated seats right up close by the court and near the opposing team's bench so opponents heard every single thing loud and clear.

Again, those were instances that happened at games prior to the games at which the group was kicked out, and were the work of one loose cannon who was reprimanded/ridiculed by the group after he said both.
