I could still run that when I was 25

Damn 4.79 is pretty terrible - that actually surprises me a little bit because he was able to beat a lot of good players to the edge this year. I was expecting a ~4.55-4.6 range. Probably will knock him down a couple of rounds.

Not me. I believe he weighed 300 pounds 30 years ago and was a 3 time Jelly Donut eating champion.

I'm still a bit surprised he made the jump. I get wanting to compete at the next level and getting paid but I don't think he is going to be selected very high in the draft.
He certainly is not going to run away from many NFL defenses with those numbers

It means he got lazy after the season and thought he was going to breeze through the combine

The opposite, trained with sprinters, did not help.

love to see an overlap video of McCoy and Holyfield. Imagine McCoy in a system that used the FB.

Why would he train with sprinters?
Football is not track sprinting
I’m not even sure how your post is believable anyway

According to DawgNation:
Holyfield spent some time training with global sprint star Christian Coleman, who also attended high school in Atlanta before his national championship track career at Tennessee.

To improve his 40 time, thus improving his draft stock. Painfully simple concept actually.

Run d has been a strength for Texas the later part of the season.

He also averaged 5 ypc vs. Tennessee
