How did Coker not have to sit out a year? I thought a D1 to D1 transfer had to sit out a year.

Just curious. SIAP

This really needs a sticky.

He graduated from FSU, so he doesn't have to sit.

He redshirted his freshman year at FSU.
He attended class his freshman year.
He played two years after that.
He took enough classes during his three years at FSU to get his degree in three years.
He graduated in the spring of 2014 from FSU.
He had two years of NCAA eligibility left.
Graduates can elect to transfer to a new school if they have eligibility left.
He transferred to Alabama.
We have no idea how good he might be.

Boom or bust? Maybe. But more likely somewhere in between.

Thanks. Sry for bein a dumbass. Lol. I work with a paranoid FSU fan and he seems to think something fishy was going on. He also believes aliens are going to take over the world one day.

You had me until this, should have just told the truth

Isn't it the "FSU doesn't offer the graduate program I want" loophole? If FSU offered the graduate program he desired, he would be ineligible.. unless I made that up

You're trying way too hard. Don't act like you actually believe it. Its a lot more understandable if it comes off as a troll job

I remember a discussion here about this very issue when Jeremiah Masoli transferred to Ole Miss.

He wasn't being serious. Don't be so sensitive.
